Reasons why your skin needs Niacinamide. Ours is 10% Formulation of Niacinamide

#1 Boosts your skins' immunity!
Langerhans cells are these little cells in your skin that are responsible for protecting and repairing internal mechanisms of your skin. When you expose your skin to the sun, especially when you burn your skin, they temporarily retreat (they are shy) leaving the skin without its natural immunity against invading microbes or a safeguards against the forming of precancerous lesions.

#2 Greatly Improves epidermal barrier performance.
Everything about your skin is better when the epidermal lipid barrier is functioning at its peak. Your lipid barrier (acid mantle) helps retain moisture, keeps it hydrated for longer and will protect your skin from invasions and harshness of environment. Niacinamide will increase the production of ceramides (an essential part of your lipid barrier), keeping the skin strong and preventing TEWL, which is also known as Trans Epidermal Water loss. Facial Serums or moisturizers containing Niacinamide improve skin barrier and has benefits for people with rosacea. A clinical study proved that Niacinimide improves the stratum  corneum barrier function and actual hydration on the face.

#3 Fixes a lot of the redness and blotchiness in the skin.
With an improved epidermal lipid barrier, the skin’s natural ability to protect itself from external aggressions becomes greatly improved. By applying this serum daily, over time and with a improvements you will notice are in skin appearance/glow, will reduce redness and blotchiness along with the sensitivity from exposure to the environment.

#4 Regulates the oil flow (Perfect for oily skin)
When your skin retains its natural moisture with a well-functioning lipid barrier, the natural oil flow from your pores becomes controlled. So, if you have oily skin, rather than trying to wash it away and encourage the OIL problem, a topically applied B3 Niacinamide will be the hero to get excessive oil flow under control.

#5 Niacinamide Protects your skin from sunlight, specifically infrared light.
Niacinamide will protect and guard the skin from the infrared heat of the sun, as well as the damaging effects of UV exposure, infrared activates free radicals and stimulates an overproduction of pigmented cells, and if your pigmentation is from hormonal challenges, heat is a big problem. Niacinamide protects the skin from heat.

#6 Hyper-pigmentation Brown Spots
When a pigment transfers (melanosomes) from your melanocytes to surrounding areas skin of your top layers of skin, it is known as a tan. BUT, over time this naughty activity becomes dysfunctional, and so we end up with uneven, blotchy SPOTS rather than an even tan. Niacinamide will assist in the reducing this brown pigmentation by slowing down the transfer of melanin to the epidermis.

#7 Minimize aging=lines & wrinkles
Niacinamide boosts collagen production. Along with the improvement of the skin’s lipid barrier comes an increase in cell differentiation and signals better synthesis, forming of collagen and elastin.

8. ACNE! because it targets the very first stage of acne (sebum oxidization) and prevents pimples from developing in the first place. When sebum in a pore meets the air and has no protection or the pH is too high, and your natural acid mantle is gone because of a cleanser or water that is too high alkaline, the pimple begins to form.
